This is a very good machine. I previously owned a top of the line Onkyo TX-SR806 which I paid over $1000 for in 2007. This receiver is better. Dolby DTMOS makes a huge difference in sound quality, throwing sound up to the ceiling, and if you happen to have speakers already in the ceiling, all the better. Pay attention to the watts per channel versus other brands. My setup has two large Klipsch 4ft towers, center speaker, subwoofer, and two 6″ speakers in the ceiling that are 20ft away from the receiver. It pushes the sound out easily, so there is plenty of power.
Internet radio is great with genre menus and presets so you can listen to your type of music, crystal clear from stations around the nation and the globe. Streaming boxes are cake to hook up and accessible through the remote. All the other familiar app features are there. Setup is pretty simple, whether you are using their sound device or doing it manually. Just make sure you have the room to connect speaker wires if you are working in a typical two shelf TV stand. When you pay close attention to the features and power capabilities, this is the best receiver on the market for the price. Strong buy recommendation.
